Overview
Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Travel Position Location: Denver, CO Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12 Nights Pay: $2,034/week (plus $2,350 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,050 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Denver, CO. The ICU RN will deliver critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment in a high-acuity environment. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, ventilator settings, and other life-support equipment. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement and adjust care plans. Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies accurately and in a timely manner. Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient conditions. Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress according to facility policies. Educate patients’ families about conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions as appropriate. Qualifications
Active RN license in Colorado or a compact state. Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (travel experience preferred). Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test. Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations. Excellent teamwork and communication abilities in a fast-paced clinical environment. Benefits
