You will drive profitability, optimize service delivery, and ensure smooth, well‑oiled operations. Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Branch Growth
Oversee Branch Performance – Manage service, parts, rental, and sales support to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Optimize Workflow & Efficiency – Streamline processes and enhance service delivery to maximize branch performance. Financial & Budget Oversight – Manage P&L, monitor expenses, oversee pricing, and maintain profitability with high service standards. Cross-Department Collaboration – Align strategies with Sales, Service, and Corporate teams to improve overall performance.
Team Leadership & Development
Build & Mentor High-Performing Teams – Recruit, train, and develop technicians, support specialists, and branch personnel. Set Goals & Foster Accountability – Establish objectives, track performance, and promote continuous improvement. Lead Training & Development – Provide hands-on mentorship and structured learning opportunities.
Customer & Business Impact
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building – Represent WMH, ensure satisfaction, resolve concerns, and drive retention. Strategic Sales & Market Expansion – Develop plans to increase market share and revenue. Vendor & Supplier Coordination – Build partnerships, manage procurement, invoicing, and purchase orders.
Safety, Compliance & Operations Excellence
Ensure Safety & Regulatory Compliance – Uphold OSHA standards and safe work practices. Facility & Fleet Management – Oversee maintenance and optimization of facilities, equipment, and fleet. Monitor & Report Key Metrics – Prepare performance reports and drive data-driven improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
Education : High School Diploma or GED required; 7–10+ years of sales/service management in industrial equipment preferred. Industry Experience : Extensive background in Material Handling, Parts, or Service Management preferred. Management & Leadership : 5+ years in strategic planning, team development, and operational management; supervisory experience with 2–6 direct reports and 10–15 technicians preferred. Operational & Strategic Oversight : Ability to manage branch operations and drive performance metrics. Customer-Centric Approach : Proven ability to engage customers and enhance satisfaction and retention. Regulatory & Compliance : Understanding of OSHA regulations and industry standards (preferred). Technical Knowledge : Strong knowledge of forklifts and material handling equipment. Leadership & Development : Experience mentoring and leading teams with growth focus. Communication & Relationship Building : Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence and collaborate. Technology Proficiency : Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and operations software. Travel : Valid driver’s license and travel readiness approximately 20% of the time.
