Sr. Worldwide Specialist – Analytics, Data & AI GTM (Amazon Redshift)

Serve as the global subject‑matter expert for Amazon Redshift across sales, solution architecture, partner, and marketing teams. Develop and scale Redshift GTM plays, sales assets, and enablement for key use cases (e.g., data warehousing modernization, real‑time analytics, ML inferences). Support strategic customer opportunities as a trusted advisor—aligning Redshift capabilities to customer requirements and differentiating against competitors. Drive field readiness and execution through training, account planning, and stakeholder engagement across geographies and segments. Partner with AWS service teams, Redshift product marketing, and field leadership to inform roadmap and GTM priorities based on market signals. Track and report on Redshift adoption trends, competitive dynamics, and revenue impact to influence GTM strategy. Serve as a thought leader for Redshift, delivering presentations at internal enablement sessions, customer briefings, and industry events. A day in the life
Report on the state of the business and customers. Create and launch new sales plays with our field sellers and customers. Solve challenging and complex problems blocking revenue acceleration for the analytics portfolio. Welcome customers to executive briefings and deep dives to align on analytics strategy and roadmap. 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience 5+ years of professional or military experience Bachelor’s degree Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Experience selling enterprise software or cloud‑based applications Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences At least 2 years experience building successful go‑to‑market programs that produce results at scale with a globally distributed field sales force covering account managers (prospectors) and specialist sellers (closers) for data and analytics products. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Redshift, or experience in Hive/Spark/Hbase/Yarn and experience in any Bigdata architecture Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions‑focused approach or equivalent Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers Experience collaborating and influencing multiple teams across multiple organizations Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits), or experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python) 10+ years of experience in cloud data analytics, enterprise software, or GTM leadership roles including Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and relevant open source projects.
