Salary: $20/hr – $25/hr + Equity + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time (35–40 hours per week)

Reporting directly to the Research Chemist, you will play a pivotal role by supporting laboratory research and analyzing field test samples. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver who is comfortable with the repetition of laboratory operations, sample analysis, wet chemistry, and data management. This position also offers the opportunity to design and run your own experiments—ideal for individuals with a curious and ambitious mindset. To be successful, you must be a resourceful self‑starter who is committed to precision and comfortable working independently. Responsibilities
Assist in the collection, preparation, and analysis of geological and environmental samples
Conduct various solution/aqueous‑based analytical chemistry experiments
Maintain the cleanliness of glassware and laboratory organization to ensure efficient workflow
Routine sample analysis, including pH testing, conductivity, & ion chromatography
Comprehensively record, analyze, and interpret test results with precision and accuracy
Construct and execute bench‑scale processes, including filters, pumps, tubing, and various glassware
Complete large‑scale bulk manufacturing within a laboratory setting
Utilize software tools for data analysis and report generation
Follow established safety protocols and attend training sessions
Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and assist with ordering needed materials
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering is required
Wet chemistry lab experience & knowledge of various glassware is required
Comfortable working in an environment with corrosive chemicals & a furnace is required
Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs. & safely handle hazardous materials is required
Ability to take comprehensive notes, maintain records, & follow procedures is required
