Legal Document Associate – Afternoon Shift Location:

Columbus, OH (considering candidates in the local Columbus area).

Hybrid:

3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Optionally report to Wheeling, WV location.

Pay and Benefits Pay:

$18.76 – $19.75 + 10%–15% shift differential.

Job Description Do you have a keen eye to even the smallest of details? In this role, your primary function will be document review and preparation. This includes creating spreadsheets, charts, graphs, mail merges, tables, presentations, and other documents to support the client’s brand and track the progress of all work.

Job Duties

Utilize appropriate logs and/or tracking software for all document production work

Thoroughly assess job requests and ensure appropriate completion throughout the task lifecycle

Perform work in document production, proofreading, intake, and workflow coordination functions as needed

Use established procedures, standards, and formats to edit, proof, convert, create, transcribe or otherwise complete document production requests to client satisfaction

Demonstrate proficiency in using equipment, technology, software, and hardware necessary to perform job functions

Communicate with team members, supervisor or client about job or deadline concerns

Meet contracted deadlines for service delivery to clients

Troubleshoot basic software or hardware problems

Help foster a proactive environment of continuous service enhancement and relationship building with the client

Perform quality assurance on work as requested

Adhere to Williams Lea Tag policies and client policies

Use equipment and supplies in a cost‑efficient manner

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum (1) year document production experience, preferably in a legal, banking or large corporate environment

Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong keyboarding and typing skills

Familiar with other software programs for editing and/or creating documents

Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential documents and information

Good problem‑solving skills and judgment to elevate issues when necessary

Professional composure under immediate deadlines

Team player able to work independently and collaboratively

Fast‑paced work environment adaptation

Excellent verbal and written communication

Self‑motivated with a positive attitude

Proven customer service skills to create, maintain, and enhance client relationships
