Inside Sales Agent
Baseline pay range: $35,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr.
As an Inside Sales Agent, the primary focus is driving new business opportunities by setting qualified appointments for agents. The role requires consistent prospecting, managing inbound and outbound calls, and engaging with potential clients to uncover needs and build rapport. Success is measured by the ability to create a steady pipeline of appointments that translate into closed sales for the team.
Objectives
Proactively contact new leads through calls, texts, emails, and follow‑up sequences to generate qualified appointments for agents
Nurture long‑term prospects by maintaining consistent communication and building trust that leads to future appointments
Maintain high productivity standards by meeting daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and appointment goals
Accurately qualify leads based on readiness, motivation, and fit for the business to ensure agent time is maximized
Utilize CRM systems to manage and track lead interactions, keeping all notes and data up to date
Collaborate closely with agents to align appointment‑setting strategies with sales goals
Continuously improve lead conversion by testing scripts, refining messaging, and adjusting approach based on results
Competencies
Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport over the phone and in writing
Persistence and resilience in handling objections and rejection while maintaining a positive attitude
Time management skills that enable consistent outreach volume without sacrificing quality
Active listening to understand client needs and tailor conversations effectively
Adaptability to shift approaches and strategies in a fast‑moving sales environment
Detail orientation in updating CRM records and following up on every opportunity without gaps
Drive for results with a focus on hitting and exceeding appointment and conversion targets
Education and Experience
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or call‑center environments preferred
Familiarity with CRM systems and lead‑management tools is an advantage
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business, sales, or communications is a plus
