Account Manager – Samsung & Dacor Home Appliances

is responsible for driving sales growth, market share, and profitability across independent retail partners within the

Bay Area, CA territory . This role focuses on developing strong dealer relationships, executing brand strategies, and ensuring optimal product placement and training for both

Samsung

and

Dacor , Samsung’s luxury appliance line.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Management: Manage and grow sales across assigned independent dealers and regional retail partners throughout the Bay Area.

Sales Growth & Targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives for both Samsung and Dacor product lines, emphasizing profitability and market share expansion.

Dealer Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision‑makers at dealer and distributor levels, including owners, buyers, and sales associates.

Product & Program Execution: Ensure full implementation of promotional programs, new model launches, and display initiatives across all retail partners.

Luxury Channel Leadership (Dacor): Drive sell‑through and showroom presence for Dacor appliances; coordinate with design studios, builders, and premium appliance dealers.

Training & Advocacy: Conduct regular in‑store product trainings, both group and one‑on‑one, to strengthen sales associates’ product knowledge and advocacy for the brands.

Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive activity, dealer inventory, pricing trends, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and leadership reporting.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure flawless program execution and alignment with corporate goals.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of field sales or account management experience, preferably in consumer electronics, appliances, or luxury goods.

Experience working with independent retailers and distributors strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.

Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.

High level of organization and attention to detail.

Comfortable working both independently and cross‑functionally.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Willingness to travel within territory (up to 60%).

Must reside within or near the Bay Area territory.

Salary & Benefits The salary range for this role is expected to be between $130,500 and $161,500. Actual pay will be determined based on relevant skills and experience and comparison to role peers.
