Job Summary Be the financial backbone of excellence! As Controller, you will lead all financial operations at the Duke Energy Convention Center, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment. You’ll forecast, budget, report, and partner across departments to drive financial success.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or MBA preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle)
Minimum 3 years experience in financial management or controllership
Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory standards
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting functions, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Develop and manage operating budgets and forecasts
Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies
Collaborate with operations to align financial goals
Supervise and develop accounting staff
