What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Build and integrate AI-powered backend features that adapt and learn in production
Extend APIs and data workflows that connect models to real users
Apply best practices in prompt design, orchestration, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to deliver secure, scalable systems
Write clean, tested code while upholding best practices for reviews and deployment
What is Required (Qualifications):
3+ years of experience building backend or cloud-native software systems (preferably in AWS)
Strong Python skills and experience with modern web/API frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
Curiosity for AI/ML, with experience exploring LLMs, orchestration frameworks, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Commitment to quality, including writing maintainable, tested code and thriving in collaborative reviews
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with data processing tools like PySpark, Pandas, or Polars
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (using GitLab) and infrastructure-as-code (using Terraform)
A habit of turning new discoveries into reusable knowledge for the team
