It is the responsibility of the Controller's Office to ensure compliance with all financial policies, rules, and regulations adopted by the University or imposed by external agencies, including state and federal audit requirements, following generally accepted accounting practices. Additionally, the Division oversees the maintenance of the official financial records of the University. Risk Services located within Financial Services is looking for a work-study student who will provide administrative and clerical support to the department. Primary Responsibilities Include: Assisting with the administration of the University's Defensive Driving Course program including communicating with and registering employees for the course and maintaining accurate records. General office support such as answering phone calls, filing, data entry, document preparation, and responding to routine inquiries. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support departmental operations. This position is onsite and requires the individual selected for the position to work in our office at the UNM Business Center.
