Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to meet customer expectations
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
Contribute to menu development and innovation
Maintain a positive, professional work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance
Skills And Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Creativity and passion for culinary arts
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
