The Department of Administration's Division of State Agencies Support Services is seeking a Supply Specialist III to join the team! This position works in within the State Surplus Property Program that promotes and facilitates the sustainable reuse of personal surplus property to state and local governments, qualifying non-profit entities and the public. In this role you will assist the supervisor in the State Warehouse by assisting customers in the selection of surplus property and assist the manager in the screening, receiving, selling, and marketing of the program.

Responsibilities of the Supply Specialist III:

Meet the needs of customers wishing to purchase property from the State Surplus Property Office, including assisting customers with purchases, loading purchases, and promoting the Surplus Property Office. Create a customer-friendly atmosphere using customer service skills. Keep the warehouse clean and organized in a manner that is convenient for customers to make purchases. Attend and participate in all on-site and off-site auctions. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and work experience directly related to the area of employment. Additional Requirements:

Experience working in a warehouse. Knowledge of merchandising and customer service concepts. Ability to maintain effective working relationships. Incumbent must be able to use a hand truck, lift up to 50lbs. unassisted, operate a forklift and drive a state-owned vehicle. Must possess a valid Driver's License.
