04 January 2026 13 January 2031.

Type of Employment:

Full-time 40 hours per week.

Estimated Pay:

$48.00 - $50.00 per hour based on experience.

Pay Holidays:

Eleven (11) Paid Holidays.

Paid Time Off:

80 hours.

Sick Leave:

56 hours.

Travel:

Travel is required.

Working Hours The Project Manager will perform tasks during the Government's primary operational hours, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM through 6:00 PM. Normal office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No work shall occur on federal holidays or any other day(s) designated by Federal Statute, Executive Order, or Presidential Proclamation. Telework may be authorized with coordination with the COR and authorized by the Contracting Officer (CO).

The Project Manager is considered a Key Personnel, meaning this individual will be staffed at all times during to execution of the contract period. This includes emergencies and disasters, etc.

Summary of Duties The Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) is the medical certification, education, research, and occupational medicine arm of the Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) under the auspices of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAAs) Office of Aviation Safety (AVS). The Aerospace Medical Research Division of CAMI (AAM-600) is located at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Aerospace Medical Research Division accomplishes the following core functions in support of the FAAs aviation safety mission. The Project Manager assists with and collaborates with Principal Investigator(s) on project planning/program management of multiple projects within the Aerospace Medical Research & Safety Assurance Division.

Qualifications

Masters degree or higher from an accredited university in any field with relevant experience.

Ten (10) + years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

PMP Certification preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

Review, evaluate, and make recommendations for projects/program studies and/or experiments.

Develop proposals, cost estimates, and budgets.

Review and coordinate statements of work and Interagency Agreements (IAA) with government program managers.

Develop project plans and cost estimates for approved projects.

Develop briefing slides for proposal and project presentations, updates, program reviews, etc.

Monitor and update project plans.

Monitor and update spend down plans and budgets.

Maintain project schedules and provide regular status updates for all projects.

Liaison with external organizations to establish and maintain relationships.

Track study/experiment development.

Schedule, attend, and facilitate scheduled meetings.

Participant in professional activities, i.e., collaborate on abstracts, manuscripts, attend and present at meetings, etc.
