About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Operating Officer (CFOO) to provide strategic leadership in the areas of finance, human resources, information technology, and Salesforce. The CFOO will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This executive will also lead the preparation of financial reports for various stakeholders and manage relationships with auditors, external partners, and donors. In addition to financial leadership, the CFOO will drive operational efficiency, establish performance metrics, and lead strategic initiatives to enhance the organization's capacity and effectiveness.
Candidates for the CFOO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree or CPA preferred, and a minimum of 5 years' of senior leadership experience in financial management and operations, particularly within nonprofit or public sector organizations. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, nonprofit accounting standards, and budget management is essential.
