About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide visionary leadership and oversee all financial aspects of the organization. This includes accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The CFO will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the organization within a diverse funding base and will play a key role in the development and assessment of long-term financial strategies. The successful candidate will also be involved in setting and achieving fundraising goals that support the organization's mission and long-term sustainability.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a minimum of 10 years' experience leading the finance function in a complex global nonprofit setting. The role requires a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as exceptional team management skills. The CFO will be expected to have a proven track record of clean audits, strong operational and accounting skills, and the ability to manage financial controls and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software applications is essential. A Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is required, with a CPA designation being a plus. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the organization's mission.
