About the Role

The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of advancing regional vitality through the arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization's strategic vision, impact goals, and long-term sustainability, particularly in the face of evolving economic, political, and cultural landscapes. This role involves close collaboration with the Board, staff, and a diverse range of partners to shape the future of the organization, implement a new strategic plan, and adapt the business model to ensure continued support for artists and arts organizations. The CEO will also be the primary spokesperson, engaging with various stakeholders to advocate for the arts and foster growth through visibility, engagement, and thought leadership.

Key responsibilities for the CEO include stabilizing the organization, diversifying revenue streams, and promoting the arts as a vital part of inclusive, vibrant societies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the arts ecosystem, a commitment to centering equity in the work, and the ability to build strong, authentic connections with partners, grantees, and the communities served. This is a critical leadership role that requires a visionary approach, the ability to champion the arts on a national and global stage, and a dedication to the continued role of the region as a cultural hub. The CEO will be expected to celebrate and amplify the narratives of artists, cultivate cross-sector partnerships, and ensure that the organization's programs and initiatives are tailored to the needs of the artistic community.
