The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead and direct the Sales department, with a focus on achieving budgeted goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team, meeting spares order intake and MRO sales objectives, and defining and executing sales plans for the civil and helicopter markets. This role requires a strategic approach to sales, including the identification of leads, management of the opportunities funnel, and contribution to demand review and business forecasting. The VP of Sales will also be accountable for ensuring compliance with sales processes, leading projects to improve process maturity, and effectively communicating sales activities and successes.
Key duties and responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales include supervising all sales functions, preparing and submitting accurate sales quotations, and maintaining optimum customer relations. The role involves aligning with the sales team for trade shows, formulating sales policies and procedures, and overseeing sales forecast input activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, be adept at leading a team, and have a strong understanding of the sales process. A background in the relevant industry and experience with CRM systems, particularly SalesForce, is highly beneficial. The VP of Sales will also be responsible for the selection, training, and development of department personnel to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction.
