Overview
As the Walmart Stores Sales Director at Ferrero, you will lead strategic and tactical partnerships with Walmart and Sam’s Club, driving mutual growth and delivering financial targets. This role is pivotal in shaping joint business plans, launching innovations, and executing digital and in-store strategies. You’ll oversee forecasting, trade management, and team capability development, while leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance across Ferrero’s iconic brands. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to Ferrero’s continued expansion in North America within a dynamic, consumer-centric environment. This position will be hybrid, based in our Ferrero offices in Bentonville, AR and reporting to the Walmart Channel VP.
Responsibilities
Manage and strengthen strategic and tactical relationships with Walmart, deliver Walmart financial targets, and drive mutual growth
Build annual plans for Walmart Business and support the launch of new innovations, developing medium and long-term business opportunities at Walmart
Define sales strategies and develop and execute digital strategy for Walmart e-commerce
Communicate retailer needs to FUSA leadership, Marketing and Customer Marketing
Lead development of joint business plans with Walmart, ensuring full alignment with core stakeholders across organization; oversee execution of commitments
Set and meet Walmart distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising goals
Oversee category-level sales forecast processes for Walmart and retailer-level roll-up
Own talent strategy and capability within Walmart team; improve and coach bench strength and performance across team
Use trade judiciously to drive demand at Walmart
Set and monitor KPIs
Work with Retail organization and brokers to execute all strategic plans
Provide monthly and year-out forecasts to Replenishment Analyst; own forecast accuracy for Sam’s Club with feedback loop when forecasts are not correct
Provide category input during JBP process; support execution against strategic initiatives and commitments at Sam’s Club in category; identify strategic sales opportunities
Use trade judiciously to drive demand at Sam’s Club in category
Education and Experience
At least 8 - 10 years of Sales, Account Management, Merchandising, Trade Management, and/or Category Management experience is required
Bachelor’s Degree is required, MBA is preferred

Strategic and proactive thinking to develop sales strategies and translate them into distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising achievements to close gaps and increase sales
Strong data analytic skills to monitor, track and proactively address customer performance as well as understand contribution of Walmart with respect to seasonal volume, assortment, performance and distribution; report and track accounts as a contribution to the overall Walmart Inc team
Effective storytelling competencies to present key insights in front of internal and external stakeholders
