Classification: JC‑496128 – Health and Safety Analyst (Associate Governmental Program Analyst) Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month (minimum salary for new to state candidates) Final Filing Date: 10/31/2025
Telework: eligible for up to three days per week, subject to operational needs. Must reside in California upon appointment.
This position reports to the Senior Industrial Hygienist in the Facilities Management Division (FMD), Environmental Health & Safety Unit. The Analyst will provide complex and technical analytical support for the statewide Environmental Health & Safety operations in accordance with DGS principles and guidelines.

Associate degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
Work experience in environmental health, safety analysis, or program management.
Proficiency with data analysis tools and reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
