Overview

Intuit’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational transformation. This is a finance functional role in the Finance Digital Transformation and Governance (FDTG) team, within the Controllership, Assurance & Operations (CAO) organization. As an individual contributor, this position will interface between technology teams and finance process owners as an expert over monetization systems that include but are not limited to Billing, Revenue, Partnerships (SPM), Oracle eBusiness suite and item design systems. Responsibilities

Deliver finance requirements documentation by translating complex accounting guidance and processes into system requirements, focusing on end-to-end business processes, transactional flows, accounting impacts and required controls. Partner with teams to clarify accounting implications and process impact with a system/automation perspective. Attend requirements sessions and deliver complete, accurate finance requirements documents signed off by process owners. Provide a point of view on solution design leveraging end-to-end knowledge of accounting processes and controls. Communicate significant design decisions and process changes to finance stakeholders with consideration of risk, resources and financial impacts. Validate solutions for financial implications and provide input on design gaps, deferrals, prioritization and manual workarounds. Lead testing coordination with tech teams, align on testing approach and scenarios to mitigate financial risks. Validate testing evidence for accuracy of accounting results and coordinate User Acceptance Testing with process owners. Drive change management, communication and training to accounting process owners throughout the software lifecycle; deliver a hand-off document for knowledge transfer. Conduct risk-based reviews of monthly system releases, identify issues with financial risk in mind, and prioritize backlog items and defects for resolution. Qualifications

Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 7–10 years of functional finance/business systems experience or equivalent Experience 5–7 years in Billing, Quote to Cash, Revenue, Accounting, or Financial system implementation, with experience in requirements documentation, solution review and testing validation as a functional lead Experience with Oracle BRM, RevStream, Partner Revshare systems and Oracle eBusiness Suite or similar systems (e.g., Zuora, Billing Platform, Oracle Revenue Cloud) preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Deep accounting and financial domain knowledge (AR, Revenue, Deferred revenue, indirect tax and related processes) Strong systems and process orientation with analytical thinking, organization and problem-solving skills Project management experience with a track record of delivering projects Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and influencing skills Ability to translate between accounting and technical languages for different audiences Ability to influence others and manage cross-functional initiatives Ability to navigate complexity and lead across functions to achieve large-scale goals Willingness to voice opinions and work in cross-functional teams Understanding of business/accounting needs and the technologies to implement them
