PhnyX Lab
Company Description
PhnyX Lab, founded in 2024 and based in Silicon Valley, California, is a Stanford-based AI startup on a mission to revolutionize the pharmaceutical and medical industries. We’ve built Cheiron, a generative AI platform purpose-built for pharma, and in just 4 months since launch, we’ve captured 30% market share in the Korean pharmaceutical sector and are already generating meaningful revenue. All of this has been achieved pre-VC, backed instead by a $6M+ raise from leading angels—including several international tycoon families like SK and Samsung, and two co-authors of “Attention is All You Need.” We’re now growing our core team in Palo Alto and looking for exceptional AI and software engineers to join as founding engineers. If you're excited to shape core infrastructure, ship cutting-edge GenAI products, and build systems that will redefine how pharmaceutical companies work—you’ll thrive here. Role Description
We’re looking for an ambitious, high-energy Growth Manager to lead user acquisition and market expansion for Cheiron Search — our AI-powered search engine that’s rapidly becoming the default research companion for biopharma professionals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of sales, marketing, and community-building — someone who can make Cheiron known, loved, and adopted across the U.S. biotech and pharma ecosystem. You’ll be the face of PhnyX Lab in the Bay Area’s biotech hub — meeting people, hosting events, driving campaigns, and building momentum on the ground. Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Outreach
Identify, research, and engage pharmaceutical and biotech prospects through direct outreach (email, LinkedIn, conferences). Build and maintain a high-quality lead pipeline for enterprise and business users of Cheiron Search. 2. Event & Community Growth
Represent PhnyX Lab at industry conferences, summits, and networking events across the Bay Area and beyond. Organize and host meetups, panels, and workshops that bring together the biopharma community around AI-driven innovation. 3. Campaigns & Content Strategy
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to design and execute growth campaigns that drive user adoption. Craft compelling sales decks, outreach content, and case studies that articulate Cheiron’s unique value proposition. 4. Growth Experimentation
Design and test outbound strategies (email sequences, event formats, messaging experiments) to continuously improve conversion and engagement. Analyze funnel metrics and user behavior to optimize campaign performance and ROI. What We’re Looking For
Mindset:
Relentlessly driven, resourceful, and fearless — thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership from day one. 'Now, not later' execution mindset; finds creative ways to make things happen. Experience:
1–4 years in B2B growth, business development, or marketing (experience in
pharma, biotech, or tech-driven industries
is a strong plus). Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication; able to craft persuasive narratives and build trust with senior pharma executives. Execution & Creativity:
Hands-on executor comfortable with experimentation, iteration, and metrics-driven growth. Strategic thinker who can blend
data-driven tactics with community-driven storytelling.
