Overview
Senior Product Manager to join the Growth product team, focusing on refining funnel strategies to boost subscriber retention and reduce churn. This role requires a data-driven approach with experimentation, understanding user behavior, and market trends to implement growth tactics and retention mechanisms.
You Will
Lead the development and execution of product strategy and vision to increase subscription growth and improve retention rates, leveraging insights into customer behavior and market trends.
Continuously optimize the subscription journey, identifying pain points and opportunities to improve the user experience and increase conversion.
Leverage data and analytics to guide decisions, identify growth opportunities, and establish clear success metrics.
Drive product strategy in ambiguous settings, employing product management frameworks to clarify objectives, mediate diverse viewpoints, and propel product growth and user engagement.
Understand customer needs and behaviors by conducting research, data analysis, and usability testing to inform strategies to reduce friction along the key steps of the customer journey.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Analytics, Product Marketing, Engineering and Customer Service teams.
You Have
5+ years of experience in product management, with 2-3 years in a Growth role, preferably in a subscription business.
Deep knowledge of growth experimentation tactics, with a strong understanding of the customer journey, and a proven track record of driving subscriber growth and retention.
Strong proficiency in data analytics, A/B testing, experimentation, and funnel optimization.
Experience developing pricing and packaging strategies that drive revenue growth and deliver strong global price-to-value for users.
Experience working with loyalty programs.
Knowledge of product management frameworks and their practical applications.
Familiarity with user experience best practices, with a keen eye for intuitive design and user journeys. Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits At Scribd, base pay is part of the total compensation package and is determined within ranges based on local labor benchmarks for the role, level, and location. Salary ranges vary by geography and market. This position is eligible for a competitive equity ownership and a comprehensive benefits package.
Location and Eligibility Employees must have their primary residence in or near one of the following cities, including surrounding metro areas or locations within a typical commuting distance: United States (Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Chicago, Houston, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, D.C.), Canada (Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver), Mexico City. In California, the reasonably expected salary range is between $139,000 and $216,500; outside of California, the range is between $114,500 and $205,500. In Canada, the range is between $145,000 CAD and $192,500 CAD.
