Overview
Position: Adjunct (Spanish) – By semester: Fall/Spring. Working Title: Adjunct (Spanish). Position Number: FA9976. Appointment Type: By semester. FTE .625 = 30 hours/week, 10 months. Be an Eagle - Where Purpose Takes Flight! North Carolina Central University (NCCU) invites applications for an adjunct teaching position in the Department of Language and Literature. The department engages students in languages, cultures, literatures, linguistics, and writing, and teaches GEC courses in English, Foreign Languages, Humanities, and Philosophy. The department also houses degree programs in English, Foreign Languages, and Interdisciplinary Studies. Primary Function / Position Purpose
To teach 1-3 sections of Spanish I and/or Spanish II per semester and to hold 4-8 office hours per week. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching in both face-to-face and/or online formats. Minimum Education / Experience
M.A. in Spanish or Romance Language Required Experience teaching Spanish at the college level Licenses or Certification
