Overview

Sales Service Specialist role at Symrise AG. The Sales Support function is an integral part of the Aroma Molecules Sales Organization, designed to create customer satisfaction and enable profitable growth with target accounts. The Sales Support Coordinator works closely with the NA Aroma Molecules Sales Team and connects directly with sales accounts, ensuring that customer needs are met to the fullest client satisfaction. The Support function is aligned with customer and product portfolio strategies of the Division, and requires pro-active engagement in all relevant areas of the customers' relationships. All initiatives, projects and inquiries are managed independently, and may include involvement of other supporting departments/divisions in fulfilling the necessary tasks.

Responsibilities

Data Maintenance Supports Customer Service in order fulfillment Maintains sales prices, packaging, terms and conditions in SAP Creates and maintains Customer Price Lists, where applicable Sets up and maintains related customer master data

Documentation Collects and distributes product related documentation, such as Specifications, Material Safety Data Sheets, Kosher/Halal-Certificates etc. by observing customers\' timelines Initiates Regulatory documentation through PACE requests Initiates document support from Product Management when applicable Arranges promotional documentation on pro-active presentation initiatives Product related from Product Management Overall market related from Marketing/Perfumery

Samples Books sample orders from customer requests and distributes according to timelines Assists in the creation of promotional samples for client presentations Coordinates requests with respective laboratories

Communicates with customers during absence of respective sales personnel Coordinates crucial information for multinational accounts Aligns with Accounts Receivables on billing issues Participates in Supply Chain calls Follow-up on customer complaints in collaboration with Customer Service

Qualifications & Skills

B.S./B.A. in Business / Marketing or related field preferred 3 to 5 years of industry experience in a sales support / sales environment Proficient in SAP; knowledge of PACE is helpful Fluency in English; additional languages preferred PC proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong leadership and communication skills Customer oriented mindset with ability to interact effectively with customers in person, by phone and electronically Initiative, proactive thinking, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail Ability to communicate with a wide variety of departments and management levels, including international communications Independent learner with good adaptability Data entry, travel organization and basic math/reporting skills Good interpersonal skills and customer service knowledge
