Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven

Sales Representative

to join our team, specializing in the sale of insulation products to

general contractors, home builders, and construction companies . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the building materials industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a territory of general contractors and home builders to promote and sell insulation products. This includes managing a current book of business and prospecting for new customers.

Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers in the residential and commercial construction sectors.

Conduct product presentations, on-site visits, and consultations to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate insulation solutions.

Negotiate pricing, prepare quotes, and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and product innovations.

Track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.

Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to build brand awareness and foster new business relationships.

Qualifications

2+ years of proven sales experience. We can teach the industry and help you become a domain expert.

Strong network within the general contracting and homebuilding community is a plus.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication platforms.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
