Responsibilities
Lead and manage diverse projects, delivering high-quality fire protection and life safety services.
Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and proposals; oversee fire alarm and sprinkler system designs.
Conduct building code reviews and smoke control modeling; serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
Collaborate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction, mentor junior staff, and help shape the future of our fire protection practice.
Work independently or in team settings to make a meaningful impact.
What you will bring to the team
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection
At least 2 years of industry experience with fire protection system design and/or code consulting
Working knowledge and experience with the interpretation and application of ICC codes, NFPA and other relevant standards
Exposure to fire modeling (e.g., FDS, CONTAM, Pathfinder, CFAST) preferred
Proven ability to build positive relationships across diverse teams and client groups
Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
Salary range: $72,300-$115,000 based on experience & location
