Overview

The Credit Customer Success Manager role supports our Risk & Valuation Services (R&VS) clients as part of the Credit Customer Success Management team. The team acts as experts in credit and risk spaces, with the ability to engage credibly with clients or prospects. The S&P Global Market Intelligence R&VS unit combines analytics, differentiated data, technology, and workflow solutions to help clients manage risk, identify opportunities, and stay ahead in a dynamic market. Responsibilities And Impact

Drive Customer Success outcomes within the Credit team. Engage with clients to provide the relationship management team with information to increase renewal rates and reduce churn. Influence future lifetime value by driving adoption of Ratings Direct and Credit Analytics, improving customer satisfaction and overall health scores. Support new business growth through greater advocacy and reference opportunities, and cross-divisional services. Define and optimize the customer lifecycle; map the customer journey. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement; raise product enhancement queries and communicate client feedback to the product team. Learn from industry best practices; deepen knowledge of the product suite and related offerings. Participate in training on credit knowledge and the full Ratings Direct value proposition. Engage on new functionality with a focus on new research themes; support migration of Ratings Direct on Capital IQ Pro at scale. Collaborate with Sales, Relationship Managers, Product, and Support to project-manage large, coordinated efforts around Ratings Direct users. Adopt tools that enhance efficiency for Customer Success Managers (e.g., Churn Zero, Calendly, CRM tools). What We Are Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications

3+ years of relevant experience in customer-facing roles with deep knowledge of Customer Success Management, Sales, or Client Services. Credit expertise highly desired. Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and build cross-functional partnerships. Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue growth. Understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue models. Analytical and process-oriented mindset; commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
