What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Verify, audit, and approve disbursement of funds for assigned vendors using various voucher entries within the Financial Management System (FMS)
Compile, analyze, and interpret data related to payment disbursement for goods and services, ensuring compliance with procurement policies
Interface with the Supplier Management team to maintain accurate supplier database information
Research payment discrepancies and respond to inquiries from departmental end-users and suppliers
Utilize online imaging systems to review supporting documents and perform records retention duties related to Accounts Payable files
What is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three years of related experience in financial roles
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
Strong customer service orientation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Relevant financial experience in a healthcare setting
Experience with billing or Accounts Payable volume processing
Familiarity with current financial systems
Ability to perform data entry through a computer terminal
Proficiency in 10-key by touch
