— Are you passionate about global health and preventative care? We are looking for a dedicated Travel Health Nurse to join our dynamic team, providing expert advice and vaccinations to individuals preparing for international travel. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic registered health professional with experience in clinical consultation and vaccination practice to join our team and be part of the new Travel Health Service in NHS Grampian. Travel Health is a complex area and requires Nurses to work autonomously. Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality travel health consultations, including risk assessment and vaccine administration Provide up-to-date advice on travel-related risks and disease prevention Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with national immunisation and travel health guidelines Promote public health and wellbeing The role will include travel across NHS Grampian and occasional Saturday hours. Experience of travel health nursing would be advantageous. Essential Skills and Qualifications
Registered nurse (NMC) with post-registration experience in vaccination practice, ideally with experience in travel health Excellent communication skills Previous experience of clinical consultation and vaccination practice is required Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload A certificate in Travel Health is desirable but not essential Flexible working hours considered If you have experience in clinical consultation and vaccine administration; can communicate effectively with members of the public and colleagues and have a positive team-working approach, we welcome your application.
