What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Shape the innovation design and research approach to anticipate future technologies and user expectations
Lead design and research workstreams, ensuring human-centered experiences for members, agents, and employees
Conduct ethnographic research and usability testing to identify unmet needs and emerging opportunities
Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions, translating design insights into narratives for decision-making
Manage and mentor Design & Research direct reports, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of experience in design consulting or UX design
Significant experience in UX, interaction, or product design, with a strong portfolio of innovative work
Proven ability to think at a systems level and translate research into actionable solutions
Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master of Science (M.S.) or Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or User Experience Design
Strong background in P&C insurance, financial services, or adjacent industries
Familiarity with human-centered design, AI/automation, and digital transformation approaches
