Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Global Algorithm Engineer. Come join the C2BMC team to put your engineering skills to work as we drive the entire enterprise forward serving one of our Missile Defense Agency (MDA) customer’s most critical missile defense mission needs! C2BMC is an IDIQ structured program comprised of multiple task orders responsible for the design, development, deployment, integration, testing, operations and sustainment of a software based Command/Control and Battle Management system. This system provides US Commanders around the globe essential situational awareness and is the integrating element central to the MDA’s missile defense missions. The MDA Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team collaborates with multiple government agencies, contractors, universities, and other organizations to accomplish a diverse and broad reaching mission. The Work

Designing, integrating, and testing tracking and custody and firing algorithm solutions, and developing and validating complex models and simulations. Develop and validate models such as 6‑degree‑of‑freedom simulations and effects‑based simulations. Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments. Support ground and flight test efforts, including Hardware‑In‑The‑Loop (HWIL) activities. Collaborate with internal leadership and external customers to support program reviews and technical interchange meetings. Facilitate Root Cause Analysis events to identify root causes and corrective actions. Evaluate process/product performance and interface with engineering counterparts on program activities to assure compliance to contractual requirements. Monitor product development including requirements allocation, architecture, design, development, integration, test and acceptance of products and solutions. Analyze data to identify systemic issues and trends; provide reports to senior management. Provide inputs to the QPM to ensure sound labor estimates on ECPs and ongoing proposal efforts. Witness integration and test activities and perform formal quality testing as required. Perform reviews and inspections of program artifacts/deliverables and associated activities to assure quality requirements, processes and standards are met. Who You Are

Experience in algorithm development in at least one of the following: optimization, machine learning, or state estimation. Knowledge of Software Quality Engineering and related processes including Systems Engineering Methodologies (Model Based and DoDAF). Basic understanding of software languages such as JAVA and Python. Code and peer review experience. Experience reviewing technical documentation. Experienced root cause analysis practitioner. Process auditing experience. Who We Are

Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) software development. Physics knowledge (aero‑dynamics, astro‑dynamics). Experience in signal processing. Self‑starter who is detail oriented, well organized and able to self‑prioritize and complete tasks within a dynamic and demanding environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to create and provide briefings and status reports.
