Job Summary The Vice President (VP) of Sales is a key executive leader responsible for driving Anguil Environmental Systems’ global sales strategy, execution, and growth. Reporting directly to the President, the VP of Sales owns the sales budget and oversees the global sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market opportunities. The VP of Sales is an accomplished leader in capital equipment or environmental technologies with proven success in international sales and in building and mentoring high-performing teams within complex, matrixed environments. Key responsibilities include driving market expansion, securing new business, strengthening customer relationships, and elevating Anguil’s brand while ensuring sales efforts reflect the company’s values and long-term vision.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global sales team; set sales budgets, coach regional managers, and hold team accountable to clear performance expectations. Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales professionals; design and implement training programs to support their success Oversee sales compensation and incentive programs to ensure they motivate achievement of company targets Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales goals; provide detailed forecasts and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) Meet directly with customers (in person and virtually) to present Anguil abatement technologies, pursue key accounts, and identify new market opportunities Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry disruptions to adapt strategy and identify growth opportunities Partner with the Marketing team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts, create impactful sales materials, and support brand awareness Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align customer proposals, product offerings, and financial plans with strategic goals Represent Anguil at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build credibility and expand market presence Strengthen long-term customer relationships through consultative engagement and consistent value delivery Consistently demonstrate and uphold the company’s four core values through actions, decisions, and interactions Foster a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment that supports learning and teamwork Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned to support efficient use of company resources and ensure customer satisfaction

Skills & Qualifications

Required In-depth knowledge of selling strategies, methods, and employee motivation techniques Strong understanding of Anguil’s products, competitive offerings, and industry markets Previous experience selling capital equipment, preferably in an engineer-to-order business Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Proficiency in strategic planning, organizational management, and data-driven decision-making Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills Entrepreneurial mindset; adaptable, innovative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office products Willingness to travel globally and work flexible hours to support global customers and teams

Education & Experience

Required Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in business-related field or Engineering or related field or equivalent number of years of experience Minimum of ten (10+) years’ progressive experience in technical and outside sales, preferably in capital equipment Minimum of five (5+) years in a sales management or executive leadership role Demonstrated experience building and leading global sales strategies and teams Proven track record of driving growth in complex, solution-based sales environments Prior P&L ownership or experience managing budgets at a regional and global level

Preferred A Master’s degree in business-related field or Engineering Proven sales experience working with oxidizers, air pollution control equipment, scrubbers, burners, fans, furnaces, ovens, industrial controls
