About this position:
LMCU is looking for a Home Equity Processing Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily process and procedures of the Home Equity processing staff to ensure that they are meeting member service goals, speed, and quality along with maintain compliance requirements.
What you’ll do:
Follow pipeline management process for a team of processors, balance the workload as needed. Monitor the pipeline for quality, compliance and timeliness. Work with other departments as needed to resolve complex issues.
Assist, mentor, and motivates team members to exceed daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly goals. Coordinates training and education for employees.
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, direct, and manage daily activities of a team of processors and team leaders.
Conduct performance appraisals and recommend salary adjustments and/or promotions as well as development opportunities for team members. Create a cadence of communication with team members to review performance, guideline updates, and procedural/system changes.
Resolve, escalate, or solve customer service issues in a professional manner. Maintain a positive work environment by developing cooperative relationships with internal and external partners.
What you’ll bring:
Five or more years of similar or related experience in Home Equity or Mortgage Processing.
Prior management experience, or experience effectively leading a team is highly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Home Equity practices and procedures.
Proficiency with MS Office and strong computer/internet navigation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to lead and work independently or collaboratively.
