Job Description Consulting Skills Client delivery as part of an on-site or remote project team, able to define the framework and structure of deliverables, carrying out the production of complex deliverables Manage the work, activities, and timelines of work for both them and their team, identifies priorities and workflows for interested parties Coaches teammates in preparing client deliverables utilizing tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS Project and Visio, designing key deliverables for projects and supporting other consultants in the production of their deliverables Present complex ideas, critical points and decisions required to team members and client contacts, including middle and top management Perform simple and complex research and business analysis to solve for customer business challenges/issues to present tailored solutions utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data Manages internal team by promoting teamwork, motivation and development of consultants Demonstrate credibility with client, challenging client approaches and providing new directions to evolve the customer relationship Define the project framework and organization, managing multiple projects and ensuring follow-up Provide status reporting of progress, dependencies, issues, risks, and overall program health Responsible for the work streams of a complex project and lead on simple projects Maintain program sites as a repository for all project information Business Expertise Skills Support practice, thought leadership, and people development activities Maintain a deep understanding of business concepts, issues and challenges and knowledge to master business expertise Cultivate knowledge related to a specific business challenge or sector Contribute to the development of new solutions in own areas of expertise Lead internal knowledge-share activities and ensure knowledge transfer to other consultants Collaborate with clients’ leadership to improve processes in banking governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, treasury transformation, stress testing, and internal audit Advise clients with strategic recommendations on Risk Management in financial services, focusing on identification, measurement, and management of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risks, etc. Help clients understand and quantify risk exposures, evaluate risk strategies, and build risk models Help build tools to utilize capital and liquidity resources, aligned with regulatory expectations Focus on financial risk identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of exposures to various movements Develop a point of view on key global trends and impact on clients Business Development Skills Write business proposals and presentations autonomously Detect, trace, and qualify business opportunities Relay information relevant to new business activities and prospects to manager and leaders People Management Skills Supervise a project team internally and on client assignment Embed the firm values of excellence, entrepreneurship, innovation, teamwork, care and employee wellbeing into management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or related field required 3+ years of client-facing management consulting experience 3+ years managing or creating project deliverables in a consulting environment 2+ years leading projects related to Financial Services (banking products and services such as Capital Planning, Stress Testing, Risk areas, Treasury, etc.) Business process design, modeling, and automation Experience delivering Financial Services solutions with deep industry understanding Strong client relationship development and management skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities with escalation awareness Willingness to contribute to internal initiatives and lead when needed Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration Preferred Qualifications Master\'s degree in finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics & Finance, Accounting & Finance, Business Analytics, etc. Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience with risk and regulatory issues across multiple areas in financial services Exposure to front office systems and market data; understanding data flow between systems Ability to analyze large data sets using SQL, SAS, and other tools CFA / FRM / CAIA / CPA Certifications Additional Information Compensation & Benefits We believe in supporting our team professionally and personally.
