Full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position for Fall 2026 in the Department of Finance at Marquette University.
Overview The Department of Finance invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Real Estate or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
Teach 15 credits per year in the Finance Department. Courses may include Real Estate, Finance, or Insurance.
New faculty teach 12 credits in the first year and may be eligible for a reduced teaching load upon demonstrated excellence in research.
Teach across undergraduate, graduate MBA programs, and executive education.
Promote an environment of principled and ethics-based instruction consistent with the values of a Catholic, Jesuit institution.
Research: Publish in high-quality journals and participate actively in national and international conferences.
Service: Advise students and contribute to College and University committees; participate in the broader academic community through journals, conferences, and related support.
Qualifications
Required: Earned doctorate or terminal degree in Real Estate or a related field. ABD may be considered.
Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and high-quality research.
Teaching experience at the university level or professional training experience is highly preferred.
