Executive Recruiter | Girl Mom | Matching Professionals with Opportunity | anca.biancucci@lhh.com Staff Accountant – Hybrid Role (NYC) Join a dynamic finance team where your attention to detail and organizational skills will help drive operational excellence. This hybrid position reports to the finance leadership and plays a key role in managing accounts payable and supporting broader accounting functions. Work Schedule: Hybrid – In-office Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and Friday. Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness. Code and enter invoices into the accounting system in line with company policies. Prepare and schedule weekly payments via check, ACH, and wire. Maintain and update vendor records. Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly. Organize and maintain documentation related to payments. Assist with month-end close activities related to AP. Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice and payment status. Support the transition to a new expense management system in Spring 2026. Provide guidance to internal staff on invoicing and vendor payment processes. General Accounting Assist with audit preparation and documentation. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare and post journal entries. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Experience in accounts payable or vendor finance roles. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with Ramp and JP Morgan Chase platforms is a plus. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Financial Edge preferred). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
