Bilingual Spanish Office Receptionist

Our busy law firm is looking for an efficient, organized part-time bilingual Spanish receptionist/legal assistant to help our attorneys and ensure we’re operating efficiently. You’ll assist with the preparation of legal documents, translating documents in Spanish, and handling all office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, arranging meetings and travel, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines. This position is part-time, 3-4 hours per day. You must be proficient in writing and speaking Spanish. You will be given a Spanish written and oral exam to test proficiency. THIS POSITION IS IN PERSON ONLY. NO REMOTE WORK IS AVAILABLE. Responsibilities: • Answer phone calls and emails and communicate relevant information to the appropriate parties • Provide administrative support to other team members with data entry, paperwork, photocopying, etc. when needed • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and handle deliveries • Greet visitors, clients, and fellow employees when they arrive at the front desk and provide them with any necessary directions or information • Spanish translations orally and in writing • Kitchen dishes and snack stocking • Watering plants • Setting up new clients • Editing PowerPoint presentations • Social media postings • Filing, calendaring, and entering attorney billing • Setting up court calls • Drafting form documents in Spanish • Schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, make travel arrangements, and coordinate with outside vendors for events • Accept other administrative tasks as needed to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly Qualifications: • Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D. or equivalent • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance for firm errands Compensation: $20 - $24 hourly
