Front of House Manager
Front of House Manager (Filling more than one position) at Inside Higher Ed. This position prepares the front of the house operation for efficient and timely service of meals to residential students and guests. It assigns and monitors jobs/activities of subordinate personnel and ensures presentation of the dining room. During special events, this role coordinates all front of the house needs in accordance with quality assurance guidelines and sanitation for customer needs.
Responsibilities
Prepare and oversee front of the house operations for meal service to residents and guests.
Assign and monitor duties of subordinate staff; ensure dining room presentation and cleanliness.
Coordinate front of the house needs during special events and picnics in line with QA and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent education/experience.
Experience: Experience in the food service industry; supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate in writing or verbally with supervisors and subordinates; basic math skills; good organizational skills; ability to monitor multiple tasks concurrently; available to work days, evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.
Certifications (Additional Consideration): ServSafe Certified.

Experience: Experience in the food service industry; supervisory experience.

Compensation Salary information: Starting at $34,277, commensurate with education and experience.
