Senior Claims Representative - Commercial Claims Auto Physical Damage Adjuster at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
This role is part of Liberty Mutual's claims team. As a Commercial Insurance Claims Representative, you will review and process simple to moderately complex commercial auto physical damage claims within assigned authority limits consistent with policy and legal requirements. Liberty Mutual provides education and training paid by the employer as part of the position.
Pay and Location Base pay range: $45,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Investigate claims using internal and external resources, including speaking with the insured or other involved parties, analyzing reports, researching past claim activity, and utilizing evaluation tools to make damage and loss assessments.
Engage in extensive and timely direct interaction with insureds, claimants, agents, and internal customers.
Determine policy coverage through analysis of investigation data and policy terms; notify agent and insured of coverage or any issues.
Establish claim reserve requirements and make adjustments as necessary during processing.
Determine and negotiate settlement amounts for damages claimed within assigned authority limits.
Write simple to moderately complex property damage estimates or review auto damage estimates.
Take statements when necessary and coordinate with Field Appraisal, Subrogation, and Special Investigative Unit (SIU) as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and current claim file/damage documentation and diaries throughout the life cycle of claim cases to ensure proper tracking and handling per guidelines.
Alert Unit Leader to potential fraud or subrogation concerns for processed claims.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of experience; claims handling skills preferred.
Strong customer service and technology skills.
Able to navigate multiple systems with strong organizational and communication skills.
License may be required in multiple states by state law.
