Stanley Black & Decker Leadership Program (SLP) – Finance - Hybrid Onsite Tuesday-Thursday New Britain, CT | Towson, MD Join our Finance Leadership Development Program to accelerate your career with rotations across the United States. The program targets recent graduates with Finance internship experience and a relevant business degree, offering two years of diverse rotations and project-based assignments to build strong financial capabilities in a global company.

Overview The Stanley Black & Decker Leadership Development Program (SLP) is a high-profile rotational program designed to accelerate the development of future leaders in Corporate Finance. Finance SLPs work in multiple rotations over two years; each rotation includes project assignments to help you understand how the business operates and contribute to facility success. The program provides early-career professionals with challenging, developmental opportunities to jump-start careers.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and deliver on projects as assigned.

Collaborate with functional business groups to ensure solutions align with business goals.

Lead projects and ensure functionality complies with established requirements, methodologies, and practices.

Monitor project status, anticipate issues, and implement corrective actions.

Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest constructive changes.

Lead key Finance and Accounting projects to streamline processes and increase working capital turns.

Gather and report KPI metrics globally.

Report project deliverables to the Executive Team on a biannual basis.

The Person

Love to learn and grow; comfortable with innovation; value contributions.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business Field.

Prior internships in Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics.

Willingness to rotate every 6 months to a new location (mainly U.S. based; global opportunities may become available).

Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the business.

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other Office applications.

Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).

0-3 years of professional work experience, including internships.

The Details

Must be willing to rotate assignments, projects, and teams every 6-12 months. Relocation for at least one rotation may be required.

Hybrid role beginning in New Britain, CT or Towson, MD.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $50,500 - $90,900 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary with knowledge, skills, and experience.
