A highly regarded regional law firm in downtown Jacksonville is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney with a strong background in construction-related claims and commercial defense matters. Base pay range:
$120,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Compensation:

Construction Law | Insurance Defense | Complex Civil Litigation What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Lead and manage a diverse caseload involving
construction defect, property damage, and commercial liability
claims. Handle all aspects of litigation — from
initial pleadings to discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations . Draft high-quality motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence. Work directly with clients and experts to develop effective defense strategies. Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on high-value, complex matters. Maintain strong communication with clients, keeping them informed and confident throughout the process. Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.)
from an ABA-accredited law school. 5–7 years of experience
in
construction, commercial, or insurance defense litigation . Proven ability to manage cases independently and work effectively within a team. Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills. Strong deposition, discovery, and motion practice experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
ProLaw
or similar case management software. Familiarity with
engineering or construction defect claims . First or second-chair trial experience a plus. Background in risk assessment and negotiation strategy. Base Salary:
