Overview
Our client is looking for an
Account Executive
to join their team in Birmingham, AL. This individual will be responsible for prospecting, generating leads, following up on provided leads and closing new business in the SMB space. They will engage with potential customers to understand their needs, present products & services, and negotiate terms to ensure successful sales transactions. Our client is a managed IT service provider offering solutions to commercial clients including cybersecurity, cloud services, VOIP, IT consulting, hardware/software, and more. Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
Identify potential customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Qualification:
Assess customer needs and qualify prospects based on established criteria. Sales Presentations:
Present products or services to prospective customers through phone calls and online demonstrations. Relationship Building:
Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. Closing Deals:
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close sales and meet revenue targets. Sales Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software. Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Customer Service:
Provide post-sales support and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly. Qualifications
Proven track record in sales, preferably in the technology/cybersecurity industry. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (preferred). Details
