Overview
Human Resources Coordinator at RTP Company. Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, the HR Coordinator supports the administration of human resources needs and basic office administration of the RTP Fort Worth plant location. Primarily working standard office hours, with occasional flexibility to cover off shift or weekend needs in support of a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Responsibilities
Serve as a front-line resource for employee questions Ensure proper employee communications on HR related items Provide HR administrative support services, including:
Administer weekly site timekeeping and attendance records Support the recruiting function for plant positions, including posting, sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating pre-employment testing Support new employee orientation, onboarding, and site training programs Assist with benefits communication and actions Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
Oversee the production uniform supply and vendor relationship Coordinate site employee events, such as picnics, holiday celebrations, and employee engagement activities Represent employer in community and recruiting events Process the daily mail, receiving, sorting, and distributing mail Order office supplies Run local errands to support plant needs (e.g., post office drop-offs, office or event supplies) Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent Qualifications
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be well organized with strong attention to detail Must be able to communicate with people at various levels within the company Must be able to handle confidential matters with discretion Must be able to research and interpret employment regulations Must be capable of multi-tasking and working independently Attendance is an essential function of the position Must be able to read, write, and speak English Education and Experience
HS degree or GED required; Associate degree preferred 1+ years administrative/data-processing experience required 1-3 years of human resources experience preferred Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer operations Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR to drive a company car Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Regularly required to sit, perform keyboard data entry, work on and look at a computer screen Regularly required to communicate via phone, email, in person, and via video Regularly stand and walk throughout the facility Frequently talk and hear to coordinate day-to-day transactions Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; position may require travel to recruitment events, local errands, and to other locations Standard office environment; production environment on the manufacturing floor with moderate noise Summary
