Role Overview We are searching for the best talent for a VELYS Robotic Assisted Solutions Clinical Training Manager to join our VELYS clinical training team. There are 2 openings – one West Coast preferred, and the other East Coast preferred. These are field-based roles available in the United States. Specific cities listed are for reference only and do not limit your application.

Purpose The Clinical Training Manager for VELYS Digital Surgery will be responsible for the successful execution of hands-on training and education of the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution with Healthcare Professionals. The role requires deep procedural knowledge of Knee Arthroplasty, the ATTUNE platform and other total joints procedures as required. The role ensures training adherence to quality and regulatory standards and supports adoption of the VELYS Digital Surgery technology. The Manager will partner with marketing, R&D and medical teams to improve training protocols and facilitation guides, and will influence the customer experience before, during and after hands-on training events. A self-led, motivated, highly communicative, and collaborative mindset with a passion for teaching and education is required.

You Will Be Responsible For

Conduct VELYS Robotic Hands-On training in non-clinical settings for physicians and OR staff in accordance with standardized protocols.

Facilitate didactic sessions as appropriate.

Partner with regional leadership to design personalized learning pathways for the adoption of VELYS Digital Surgery technology.

Incorporate procedural standards and best practices into training material with R&D, Marketing and Franchise Medical Directors.

Tailor hands-on training with HCP faculty to meet objectives and experience levels.

Identify opportunities to improve training content and learning journey experiences.

Continuously improve training materials for current and new technology with clinical relevance.

Lead on-site preparation for training events, including station setup/tear-down and material cleaning.

Manage robot reusable and one-time-use instrument inventory for training events.

Contribute to evolving training programs for the Field Sales Organization and conduct sales training as requested.

Support preparation for OUS technology launches with global teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of 5 years in progressive Healthcare or related commercial roles with a track record of success (e.g., Sales, Sales Training, Prof Ed, Marketing and/or Sales Management).

Strong clinical expertise and orthopaedic/medical device training experience.

Demonstrated ability to train using various learning styles and modalities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Digital / MS Office proficiency.

Preferred

Clinical knowledge of Knee Arthroplasty procedures and/or surgical robotics is highly preferred.

Experience with sophisticated technologies and/or capital equipment.

Ability to translate business strategy into learning solutions that support company goals.

Experience with adult learning concepts and instructional design principles.

Experience using modern educational technologies and facilitation skills for virtual and live training.

Skills

Demonstrated peer-to-peer training with complex technologies.

Training and education capabilities with physicians and hospital staff.

Compliance with FDA and Johnson & Johnson regulatory and quality standards.

Excellent verbal and written communication; strong collaboration with stakeholders.

Business acumen and customer-focused communication; high emotional intelligence and leadership skills.

Ability to handle and utilize products for hands-on training in non-clinical settings.

Up to 75% travel; weekend event support and travel may be required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.
