Overview

Lecturer - College of Nursing - Simulation at University of Kentucky. This is a 9-month, tenure-ineligible Lecturer position (August 16 – May 15) with an anticipated distribution of effort of about 90% Teaching and Advising and 10% Professional Development and Service to the College of Nursing. Start date anticipated no later than January 1, 2026; earlier start date negotiable. This posting will remain open until filled and applications will be reviewed as received. Responsibilities

Provide teaching, advising, and mentoring of students in coursework offered in the clinical simulation learning center and UK clinical enterprise. Design, implement and evaluate curriculum offered in the Clinical Simulation Learning Center. Plan and evaluate student experiences and provide experience in clinical simulation with low- and high-fidelity simulators. Resource the Undergraduate and Graduate programs within the College of Nursing. Contribute to scholarly practice and advancing nursing professionalism. Qualifications

Master’s degree in nursing required; DNP or PhD preferred. An active unencumbered Kentucky license as a registered nurse. Minimum of 2 years of BSN-prepared related professional clinical practice nursing experience within the last 5 years is required. Preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation (preferred). Successful teaching experience in clinical simulation with low- and high-fidelity simulators (preferred). Additional Information
