The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) is responsible for profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. The role drives sales and builds and retains a personal book of business within the market / retail location. This position attracts and generates new customers and cross-sells existing customers, supporting product offerings including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance. The agent sells to walk-in customers and markets products outside of the office via marketing calls and in-person visits to create community relationships that promote growth. Responsibilities

Drive new business sales and achieve growth goals by understanding customers’ needs and building rapport. Attract and generate new customers and cross-sell existing customers. Promote and sell product offerings (Auto, Life, Auto Club, Roadside Assistance). Work with walk-in customers and conduct marketing calls and in-person visits to build community relationships and promote growth. Collaborate with sales leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals. Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company policies. Handle customer payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer reports. Minimum Qualifications

0 – 2 years of experience. P&C licensing (preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company. Preferred Skills and Competencies

Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products. Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross-sell and retention of customers. Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and active presence in the community (car dealerships, local events, organizations). Initiates outbound calling to established target customer base for product offerings. Monitors competitors and contributes ideas to improve market position. Plans and manages marketing and sales processes with Direct Sales Leadership to achieve goals. Delivers results with respect to quality, productivity, timeliness, and customer satisfaction while complying with rules and standards. Understands and stays current on underwriting guidelines and company policy changes. Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies reports for cash drawers. Compensation

Unlicensed Candidates:

Base compensation: $17.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Licensed Candidates (Licensed to sell Auto or P&C Insurance):

Base compensation: $20.00 per hour, based on active required license and minimum 6 months of P&C sales experience. Total Compensation:

In addition to base hourly rate, total compensation may include incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses based on individual and team performance. Benefits
