What You Will Experience In This Position
Lead and mentor NPI Manufacturing Engineers focused on new product launches, ensuring alignment with program timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.
Oversee the execution of APQP processes, including FMEAs, Control Plans, Capability Studies, and PPAP submissions.
Drive the application of lessons learned and risk mitigation strategies across all new programs, leveraging engineering judgment and historical data.
Collaborate with Design Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless product transitions from development to production.
Facilitate and lead gate reviews, ensuring cross‑functional readiness and launch excellence.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in manufacturing processes, tooling, and automation.
Ensure compliance with internal and external standards including ISO‑9001, and customer‑specific requirements.
Support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and post‑launch containment activities to maintain product integrity and performance.
You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Ideally 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Proven expertise in APQP, PPAP, GD&T, FMEAs, Control Plans, and SPC.
Strong understanding of quality systems, customer specifications, and regulatory standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Pay Transparency nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range $105,000.00 - $195,000.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
