Manager, Product Owner
leading a flagship initiative that modernizes our Workers Compensation line. Your role will shape the full product lifecycle, align teams around strategy, and deliver measurable value to customers.
Base pay range:
$139,500 – $197,500 per year.
Responsibilities
Develop and own product vision, strategy and roadmaps for customer journeys.
Own business results for initiatives, measured against relevant KPIs.
Communicate vision effectively to stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
Align resources and priorities with IT and business units.
Drive customer‑centric product design, usability testing, and market positioning.
Remove execution roadblocks and ensure delivery of clear user stories.
Lead a small team of Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
Act as the voice of the customer and approve completed user stories.
Analyze feasibility, cost, and value of program changes.
Qualifications
7+ years in business, engineering, technology or consulting.
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field; Master’s preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Agile development methods.
Strong business expertise to set priorities and understand value impact.
Technical proficiency to participate in sprint planning.
Excellent influencing and communication skills.
Comfortable making decisions with uncertainty.
Proven experience with Agile practices.
Location: Candidates must live within 50 miles of Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Seattle, WA; Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH; or Plano, TX. Hybrid schedule: office two days per week.
