Job Description: The BATTALION CHIEF leads operations at the Natomas Training Center, overseeing training activities, resource management, and emergency response coordination. The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and effective communication with staff and stakeholders.
Must possess a valid California Driver’s License (CDL). Provide CDL number, class, expiration date, and endorsements/restrictions on application.
Must have Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) clearance before hire.
May be required to wear respiratory protection equipment, including self‑contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), with annual medical clearance and fit‑testing per CalOSHA standards.
Must be physically capable of running, walking, climbing, lifting over 25 pounds, and working in emergency conditions.
Application Requirements: Submit the State Examination/Employment Application (STD 678) and all required documents by the final filing date: 10/30/2025. Include a resume and any relevant qualifications.
