Job Summary:
The Decision Support Analyst is a detail‑oriented role that supports the school's decision‑making processes through the gathering, analysis and interpretation of financial and administrative data, both qualitative and quantitative. This role will utilize querying and scripting languages to acquire and manipulate data from various platforms. It will support school leadership in decision‑making processes related to financial and operational activities and school efficiencies. The role enhances overall data literacy throughout the campus by creating meaningful and intuitive dashboards via Tableau and other reporting software. It requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work with large datasets, and a talent for transforming data into understandable and actionable information.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, validate, and analyze data from various sources such as the university’s central data warehouse, advancement, student data, market analyses, and peer institutions.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by collaborating with the central campus data enablement team and performing regular data quality checks.
Develop and consistently maintain periodic dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Tableau, Power BI and Excel to communicate findings to school stakeholders.
Collaborate with school management and departments to provide data‑driven business recommendations and identify trends or patterns for business strategies and initiatives.
Document methodologies, processes, and findings for future reference and continuous improvement.
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on data‑related strategies and improvements.
Ad‑hoc analysis as requested.
Collaborate with internal data analytics groups to broaden overall data literacy and access (code sharing, knowledge sharing, etc.).
Participate in data governance initiatives throughout the campus to ensure best practices and standards are being met.
Work Location Hybrid – Eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in‑person meetings upon completion of training and approval from supervisor. Please be advised that this position is not eligible now or in the future for visa sponsorship.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, mathematics, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
1 year of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence or directly related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Python programming languages.
Previous project experience in data analysis.
Experience working with data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, and Tableau.
Experience with an Oracle SQL Server.
Experience working with Snowflake.
